![]() ![]() However his precise sword is okay but not amazing value, and shadowblade is actually a crap curse card, since you want a curse card that can be used every turn to activate curse damage. Quick look at other classes: Vampire is super consistent early (especially since he's just been buffed indirectly by starving only losing 10 hp), and that's because his energy ability is incredible. If we're judging classes by this criteria, these two have both consistency early and scalability late. Queen's 'panic button' is not as powerful early due to lack of draw, but you can spam a re-usable curse as many times as you want for however much damage you need. This is more useful early game, but it also means that you should never die early on this class. Now what happens when there's bad luck involved? Sorceress has an easy panic button of gem a few times and deal 100 damage. Sorceress fire gloves is one of the most consistent blocks in the game, and he has extra draw with one for all. Queen's Sleight of Hand is the single strongest card in the game which mitigates so many enemies, then her queen's flower is an infinitely re-usable curse which can break any enchantment. No matter how the seed turns out, they can win the game. Consider Sorceress, which basically has a consistent 20 or 30 damage block with Fire Gloves or Fire Gloves+, just needing a little bit of offense to win the game easily. If not completely self-reliant, the class's starting equipment is at least scalable (can take it to late game). Classes such as Knight or Bard will never be above average since they are overly reliant on requiring good shop items. You can beat the entire game using her starter equipment. What makes a class great is the consistency to do well regardless of the situation. (For reference, I think the rest of the A classes probably somewhere between 30-40%, worse classes put up say 15-20% winrates) I would expect a good player to win 80% of their runs. Queen is universally agreed as the best class, and you could argue it's even a tier above sorceress. ![]()
